Good marks for our children’s carpets

For the September edition of their consumer magazine, the editors of Ökotest sent a selection of 15 children’s carpets to the lab. The results of the in depth examination have now been published. After testing, Ökotest can recommend nine products, including two that were produced by WECON home for sigikid and Esprit. “Pinky Queeny” from sigikid and “Zoo” from Esprit both received the overall verdict of “good” from the testers. The results of the practical tests for both carpets were even “very good.” However not all the children’s carpets received the approval of Ökotest’s editors. Four carpets failed the test as “unsatisfactory.” One branded carpet was judged by the consumer advisors as completely “unfit for sale.”
